VETTEL!! VETTEL!! VETTEL!!

I wouldn't want it any other way!!! Sebastian Vettel, you really deserve to be this year's Formula 1 world champion!! Congratulations!!

Yes, in a race no-one will ever forget, things just worked out for young Sebastian Vettel yesterday on the Yas Marina circuit after getting pole position and defending it through turn one, just before Liuzzi decided to park his Force India on top of Michael Schumacher's Mercedes GP car.

Red Bull celebrated a well-deserved constructors' title in Brazil last week, and along came Vettel and gave them something to celebrate about this week! But this has to be said, if Seb's car had been more reliable, he would've been crowned world champion four races ago. But still, what an amazing, epic Formula 1 season this has been!! And the man who really deserved it, got it at the end!

It goes to show, when you play be the rules, you usually win. There was no team orders involved in the Red Bull camp throughout the year when it came down to race day and scoring points. Christian Horner gave his two drivers equal opportunity to win, and to some that might sound like an idiotic move, but to me, that is how Formula 1 should be.

Hats off to the two Renault drivers, Robert Kubica and Vitaly Petrov, who drove like true champions yesterday, not giving an inch to Lewis Hamilton or Fernando Alonso. And of course, weel done to Nico Rosberg who came in a solid fourth place.

So, next year we'll see some additions to the cars, with the KERS systems making a return and adjustable rear wings to counter the drag when sitting in someone's slipstream. Will this play a big role in next year's racing? We're going to have to wait and see...

Vettel, you are a true champion!
