Formula 1 2011... What's in store?

As we all know, the new Formula 1 season is starting in March, with pre-season testing around the corner and new car launches already taking place!

Ferrari launched their F150 last week, boasting the Italian flag on the rear wing in celebration of Italy's 150th year of reunification, hence the F150.
Team Lotus also launched their brand new creation, still green wit h the yellow racing stripes, but with a new Renault powered engine and gearbox. Following the same path as Lotus Renault GP, formerly known as Renault.

There will be a court hearing later on this year which will determine which team gets to keep the Lotus name, seeing that two teams will drive under the same name for the beginning of the season.

Not much has changed from last year, apart from some enhancements. The KERS system makes a comeback(boooo!!!!) and drivers can now adjust the rear wings of the car to stall it once they're in some turbulent air from the car in front of them.

A couple of drivers lifted their opinions about the new rules, not being very optimistic and saying that driving the car is the key element, not pressing buttons all the time.

So maybe the used cars section in Formula 1 would offer faster cars sooner than we thought! Take us back to 2002 when the cars could reach speeds up to 380 km/h! No diffusers, no adjusting or stalling wings, no refeuling bans, no tyre rules, just pure racing!!
