This here is the new Mercedes Benz Biome and it looks like something escaped out of i-Robot...
Yes, it's green and eco-friendly and all of the above, but still, do you really want to be seen in one of these? Do you really want to drive a car that has holes punched through the front and is wider than the whole state of Texas? I don't think so...Of course, if you live in Amsterdam and wish to impress the royalty over there, this would work quite beautifully, but not in any other part of the world.
And I know we're working towards a better future with the cars being eco-friendly and all. not destroying our lovely planet like our old used cars did. But why can't everyone follow Jaguar's example? To make an eco-friendly car that still looks amazing and goes like hell on a straight.
Make an eco-friendly ca people would like to drive!! Not something a bored German designed one lazy Sunday afternoon, something that says "Here I am! I will rip your face off! Drive me!", something like that. Then we are talking! But this is starting to get ridiculous...
