Good morning to all petrol heads! Or should I say electro-heads? Considering what I stumbled upon today...
This mean guy, believe it or not, is French! And it's Citroen's answer to "green" peace on the race track. It's called the Survolt Concept and there's some more Citroen details on it's performance and specs.
So, nice job Citroen! Only one question... As it is an electric powered Le Mans racer, how do you plan on doing the pit stops? "Quickly, drive into the office and plug it in!! We're getting overlapped by the ethanol Ferrari's!" Hmm, makes a guy wonder if they thought about that...
Oh, and let's not forget our dear friends at the Audi garage with the impeccable R15 TDi, which could well inspire everyone else to run on diesel. Then it'll actually sound like a truck race more than screaming gulpers powering around the Circuit de la Sarthe. But all in good favour of our dying planet...
So, for that, I like the creativity and effort that went into the Survolt Concept and I think in a couple of years, and a couple of tries further, it's going to work. Definitely, maybe...
